FAQ
Korea medical concierge FAQ
These answers explain the coordination scope. Medical advice and treatment decisions remain with the treating provider.
Is the initial consultation with Beautinery free?
Yes. Your initial consultation with Beautinery is free. We discuss your goals, visit plans and the support you need. Clinic consultation and treatment fees are separate. Any later concierge services or third-party arrangements have their scope and costs agreed in writing before you proceed.
Will you speak up for me if a charge seems unfair?
Yes. We act on your side across clinic fees, interpretation, transport, accommodation and our own concierge fees. We review the items and terms, question unclear or excessive charges, and negotiate for fair value. With your agreement, we raise concerns with the provider and seek an explanation or correction. We explain revised costs and options so you decide what to accept; medical decisions remain with your treating clinician.
What does Beautinery do for me?
Beautinery is a patient-first VIP concierge for your visit to Korea. We help you explore clinic options, prepare for consultations and coordinate the practical details of your visit around your needs. Beautinery is not a hospital and does not diagnose, prescribe or provide treatment. Medical decisions and care belong to your treating clinic and doctor.
How do you introduce clinics and doctors?
We prioritise introductions to doctors with specialist qualifications relevant to your interests and discuss options around your preferences, language and travel plans. Our partner network is private; relevant clinic and doctor details are shared individually during your enquiry so you can review them before deciding. An introduction is not a guarantee of suitability or results: the doctor must assess your individual case.
How are treatment and concierge costs explained?
Your initial consultation with Beautinery is free. The clinic determines treatment options and medical fees after assessing your case. Any later agreed Beautinery coordination fees and third-party costs, such as interpretation, transport or accommodation, are separate items. Confirm the scope, inclusions, exclusions and any additional charges in a written proposal before booking. An initial estimate is not a final medical quote.
What should I confirm before paying?
Confirm who is providing each service, who receives each payment, the accepted payment method and the applicable terms in writing. Ask us to explain why a clinic is being introduced and whether Beautinery receives a referral fee or other compensation connected with that introduction. Do not assume that treatment, concierge support and travel services share the same payment or refund terms.
Can you arrange interpretation?
Tell us your preferred language and when you need interpretation. Availability, the type of appointment, any accompanying support and fees need to be confirmed for your case in writing. A translated website does not mean that an interpreter is available in every language at every time.
Can you help with transport, accommodation or a companion?
Share your travel plans and any needs for a companion, transport or accommodation. We can discuss which arrangements are available for your visit; the provider, scope and cost must be confirmed before booking. These services are not automatically included in treatment or concierge fees. Entry and visa requirements should be checked with the relevant official authority.
When can I contact my concierge?
Your visit plan should confirm the contact channel, support hours and agreed scope of assistance in writing. Tell us about your time zone and schedule so these arrangements can be discussed before your trip. Concierge messaging is for coordination and is not an emergency medical service.
Who handles medical questions during recovery or after I return home?
Your treating clinic and doctor are responsible for medical instructions, recovery assessments and follow-up care. Beautinery can help relay questions and coordinate contact within your agreed service scope. Confirm the clinic's follow-up arrangements before treatment, including what is available after you leave Korea. For an urgent medical concern, contact local emergency services rather than waiting for a concierge reply.
What if my plans change or I need to cancel?
Cancellation, rescheduling, missed-appointment and refund terms depend on the service and provider. Obtain the terms for the clinic, Beautinery services and any third-party bookings in writing before agreeing or paying. Contact us when your plans change so we can help coordinate the request within the agreed scope; a change request does not itself confirm a refund.
