Updated · Beautinery Concierge Team

Beautinery is a patient-first VIP concierge in Seoul for people planning a clinic visit from abroad. We prioritise introductions to relevant medical specialists and help you prepare questions, compare clinic information and plan your visit. Interpretation, accommodation, transport and follow-up coordination are confirmed for each case, including language, availability, scope and cost. Licensed clinics make every medical decision.

What a medical concierge in Korea does

We help you prepare comparable questions for the clinics you are considering and request written estimates with inclusions and exclusions. Consultations depend on each clinic's availability. Interpretation, transfers, accommodation, accompaniment and follow-up communication can be discussed for your visit; confirm which services are available and included in writing before booking. Clinical follow-up remains with the treating clinic.

Care we coordinate

Our guides cover questions about plastic surgery, dermatology, vision correction and dental visits. A guide is not confirmation that Beautinery can arrange every treatment or service; available introductions and support are discussed individually. Each guide explains what the clinic decides, which questions to ask at consultation, the main risks to discuss and how to plan the recovery stay, so you arrive at the first consultation prepared.

Comparable answers from several clinics

Clinics answer enquiries in different formats. We ask each one the same questions: who would perform the treatment and their experience, what the consultation involves, what the estimate includes or leaves out, and how follow-up visits and revisions are handled. We can help organise the answers for comparison; the format and any translation support are agreed for your case, and you choose the clinic. Use the quote comparison guide to record each answer and mark missing items as pending. You choose the clinic. We question unclear or excessive charges and negotiate provider fees on your behalf.

Consultations: remote first, then in person

Ask whether a clinic offers a remote consultation before booking flights. We can help coordinate appointments and requested interpretation, subject to clinic schedules, language availability and your agreed service scope. Any in-person consultations and interpretation for consent discussions need to be confirmed before travel. Treatment dates are confirmed by the clinic after that consultation, so flights and accommodation are best booked around the clinic's confirmed schedule rather than the other way round.

Interpreters and the treatment day

Tell us which appointments require interpretation and whether you need treatment-day transport or accompaniment. Availability, language, hours and costs are confirmed individually in writing. Clinical instructions always come from the clinic; confirm how those instructions and any translation will be provided before treatment.

Where you stay and how you get around

Recovery goes more smoothly when the accommodation is close to the clinic, quiet and suited to a companion. We can discuss accommodation options and arrival logistics around your clinic schedule. Any airport or clinic transport, accommodation booking and companion support need separate confirmation of availability, provider and cost. These services are included only when stated in your written plan.

Timing the trip

The order matters: remote consultation, then the clinic's confirmed dates, then flights. Korean public holidays and clinic closures, Seoul's seasons and the number of follow-up visits the clinic wants before you fly all affect how long to stay. The planning timeline and the sample recovery itinerary show how a visit fits together; the clinic sets the actual dates.

After you fly home

Questions do not stop at the airport. We stand on your side: raise your questions firmly with the clinic, request explanations and a written response, and help you pursue a fair resolution. We also coordinate agreed return visits and help you obtain your records. Medical concerns go to the treating clinic, and urgent symptoms to a local doctor or emergency services. If a dispute arises, Korea has an official mediation body for foreign patients, and our guide explains how to reach it.

How the concierge is paid

Coordination is quoted per case, in writing, before you commit, and shown separately from clinic fees, accommodation, transport and optional services. Confirm the treatment payment recipient and terms with the clinic in writing before paying. Some partner clinics may compensate Beautinery for coordination; ask how your case is structured and we answer in writing. We negotiate clinic and third-party charges on your behalf, and our own fee is open for discussion. Our guides do not quote fixed prices because the final offer depends on your case and the agreed scope.

Start from the plans you already have

Whether you are exploring, comparing a shortlist or have already booked a clinic, you can ask for support with the whole visit or a defined part, such as one interpreted consultation or a recovery stay. In your inquiry, include your travel window, preferred language, any clinic or appointment already chosen, and the support you still need. Leave undecided details open.

Coordination flow

  1. 1

Message us on WhatsApp, Telegram or email, or send the short form, with what you are considering, your travel window and the reply channel you prefer.

  2. 2

We send the clinics you are considering the same question list, arrange remote consultations where offered, and collect written estimates.

  3. 3

You compare the answers and choose a clinic; we confirm the coordination scope and quote in writing before anything is booked.

  4. 4

Any agreed interpretation, transfers, accommodation, treatment-day support and follow-up coordination are planned around the clinic's confirmed dates and each provider's availability.

Cost and scope notes

  • Treatment fees are set and confirmed by the clinic after its own assessment. Preliminary figures may change after consultation.
  • Accommodation and transport are billed by their providers under their own terms and listed separately in your plan.
  • Concierge coordination is scoped and quoted per case in writing. Confirm the work, the payer and the exclusions before agreeing.

Patient questions

What to clarify before you travel

These answers are coordination guidance, not medical advice. Final treatment decisions should be confirmed directly with the treating provider.

What is a medical concierge in Korea?

A coordinator based in Korea who handles the non-medical side of a clinic visit for patients from abroad: clinic enquiries and comparison, consultation scheduling, interpreters, written estimates, accommodation, transport and follow-up. The clinic provides medical advice and treatment; the concierge makes the visit run and keeps you informed in your language.

Do I need a clinic shortlist before contacting you?

No. You can start while exploring, bring a shortlist, or ask for support with a clinic you have already booked. Tell us your stage and preferred reply channel and we take it from there.

Which languages do you work in?

Tell us your preferred language and the appointments where you need help. We confirm communication and interpretation availability, scope and fees for your case in writing; website languages do not guarantee interpreter availability.

Can you help if I have already booked a clinic?

Yes. Share the clinic, the confirmed appointment and the tasks you want help with, such as an interpreter, transfers or a recovery stay. We confirm availability and the scope in writing.

How far ahead should I start?

As soon as you know your travel window. Remote consultations come first, the clinic then confirms dates, and flights and accommodation are booked around them. The planning timeline guide shows the order of steps.

Are treatment, travel and concierge one price?

No. Clinic fees, accommodation, transport and the concierge quote each show their own scope and terms, so you can see what you are paying for and to whom. Confirm the treatment payment recipient and terms with the clinic in writing before paying.

How is Beautinery paid?

Coordination is quoted per case in writing before you commit. Some partner clinics may compensate Beautinery for coordination; ask how your case is structured and we answer in writing.

What if I have a concern after returning home?

Contact us so we can raise your concern firmly with the clinic, request a written response and help pursue a fair resolution; you can also contact the clinic directly. Medical concerns are answered by the treating clinic; urgent symptoms need a local doctor or emergency services. For unresolved disputes, our guide explains Korea's mediation body for foreign patients.

Can I request only part of the service?

You can request a defined part of the visit, such as interpretation for one consultation or help with transport or accommodation. Describe what you have arranged and what you need so we can confirm availability, scope and costs.
