A quote is only comparable when you know what it covers. Korean clinics itemize differently: some quote a surgeon's fee alone, others bundle anaesthesia, consumables and follow-up, and promotional prices may carry conditions. The procedure and technique as the surgeon described it; the surgeon's fee; anaesthesia type and fee; the facility or operating room charge; implants or materials; pre-operative tests; medication; compression garments or dressings; scheduled follow-up visits; and any consultation fee already paid.
Revision policy and its cost, complication management, extended follow-up after you leave Korea, remote check-ins, deposits and cancellation terms, and whether tax is included. Ask for each explicitly.
Event pricing is common and can be genuine, but it usually has dates, eligibility and inclusion conditions. Ask whether the promotional price applies to your procedure, your dates and the technique the surgeon recommended.
Put both estimates on the same lines. A lower total that excludes anaesthesia and follow-up is not lower. Where a clinic quotes a range, ask what moves the figure within it.
Confirm accepted payment methods, card or currency fees, deposit amounts and refund conditions. Ask the clinic whether any tax refund arrangement applies to international patients and what documents it requires.
