A mini facelift uses shorter incisions and a more limited lift, usually aimed at early laxity along the jawline and lower cheeks. It is not a smaller version of every facelift; it addresses less, and the surgeon's judgement about whether it is enough is the crux of the consultation.
Early jowling and laxity of the lower face, generally in patients with good skin quality. It typically does not address the neck fully or significant mid-face descent. Ask the surgeon plainly whether your concerns fall within what a mini lift can change.
